Third Sector Partnership Council

Established in 2007, the council provides a meeting point between the Welsh Government and the third sector in Wales. It is chaired by the Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty, Jeff Cuthbert, and has representatives from 25 organisations including the Wales International Development Hub.

The Welsh Government's website provides further information including related agendas, minutes and papers.

As stated on the Welsh Government website:

The Third Sector Partnership Council:
  • facilitates consultation with relevant Third Sector organisations and public sector bodies on the Scheme’s implementation, operation and review; and
  • considers issues that relate to the functions and responsibilities of the Welsh Government that affect, or are of concern to, the Third Sector and makes recommendations to the Welsh Government."
